[The 7 BEST] Ibanez Acoustic Guitars Hands Down.

If You’re looking for an acoustic guitar with surprisingly great quality from everything from the build to the tone……..You’re going to be seriously surprised with what Ibanez has to offer. If I knew they had acoustics that sounded this good……I would’ve got one years and years ago.

The quality of Ibanez acoustic guitars nowadays is incredible….not to mention insanely affordable. Plus you have all sorts of unique features not seen on many other acoustics, from woods that are rarely used………to thin necks that feel a lot like an electric guitar. So fun to play on. The more I learn about their acoustics, the more impressed I am with how incredible they are. I’m sure you’ll also be impressed

Ibanez ae900-NT – The Best Sounding Ibanez hands down.

This Ibanez made in Japan, is absolutely underrated and frankly…….NOT getting the credit it deserves. I personally think it’s ridiculous more people don’t know about this guitar. It’s one of the best tones I’ve ever heard from an acoustic. Seriously, It really has a beautiful and unique voice. I Promise you’ll be surprised at the tone from this model.

[#6] Best Value
Ibanez acoustic there is. The artwood ac340.

Incredible value for the price on this model. Honestly, I’m kinda confused at the price on this model……..it’s so inexpensive for what you’re getting. In the future, it HAS to go up…..because right now it’s just ridiculously dirt cheap. Ibanez has kinda been this way for years though, undervaluing the price of their acoustic guitars. It might seem strange, that their priced this low…..but for now just take advantage I guess. I’m not complaining.

I found this ridiculously good review below that gives a great comparison between a Ibanez and a Martin. To me, the Ibanez straight up won.

[#5] Ibanez artwood – ACFS580CE – Insane quality

Now, when it comes to the highest quality guitar that Ibanez makes…..people will argue day in and day out on which one is the best. For instance, you could say that it’s usually the highest priced model…..but that’s almost never the case because custom famous guitar players models tend to fetch more money than what their worth. In a similar case some say that the guitar with the most features should be considered the highest quality. But, a ton of features doesn’t make a guitar the best built.

Rather than argue all these merits…….check out the specs for this model. If you don’t think it’s the absolute best, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s one of their best models.

[#4] The AEWC 400 – Most Comfortable acoustic Guitar you’ll EVER play

Yeah, I know that’s a BIG claim. But it was for me 100%.

This guitar is built to be comfortable for the average electric guitarist. It’s got a thin neck and comes set up with a decently low action (basically all Ibanez acoustics come set up nice and low). On top of this the radius is perfect for shredding (on an acoustic seriously!) and there’s a cutaway so you can reach those high notes when you need to.

Everytime I go to a guitar store I pick up one of these to play. I definitely suggest if you’re looking for an acoustic that feels really comfortable to try this one out. It’s got a really great feel to it. Personally, this is my next acoustic I’m getting. It’s been a tough decision though to decide wether I’m going to just play full price or go with used. (Yeah, I’m stingy lol)

[#3] Thermo Aged – Super unique

As guitars become more and more affordable, guitar manufacturers have to find more ways to make their guitars stand out. Ibanez has always stood out in general, but these guitars in particular stand out even further than the rest.

So, what is it about these guitars that’s so much different than other guitars?

These guitars are what Ibanez refers to as “thermo – aged”. This is not an entirely new concept, but still pretty unique. Basically what happens to the guitar is essentially baking them. Yes, I really mean putting them in heat to induce an aged feel and tone. What that does is it gives a guitar a more full tone that previously could only be heard from acoustic guitars with older wood. In simple terms, a guitar that’s been around awhile sounds better. Heating up the wood essentially does the same.

The tone that comes from these is honestly incredible, it feels very fresh. Listen for yourself to get an idea of what I mean.

[#2] Ibanez Fanned Fret Guitar – A STEAL.

The main reason I love this guitar so much, and put it as one of Ibanez best acoustics… Is because this Ibanez IS DIRT CHEAP. It’s probably the cheapest fanned fret acoustic guitar there is. (at least at the time of this writing – maybe Ibanez Will eventually wise up and price higher)

It’s actually insane how much guitar you get for the money with this model. It absolutely does not make any sense at all, it’s seriously ridiculous. I’m guessing what happened, is that not as many people want fanned fret acoustic guitars as Ibanez thought would. Because of this they made too many models and had to drop the price. This is the only logical conclusion I have for why this guitar such great value.

Here is an incredible review of the guitar. If you wanted a chance to own a fanned fret…….this is probably your best bet.

[#1]
Ibanez PC12MH

The Ibanez PC12MH is an incredible guitar, but not one of Ibanez best……

So why did I include it here?

Just to prove that even one of Ibanez ABSOLUTE CHEAPEST acoustic guitars still sounds absolutely incredible.

And seriously, what a steal……you get a grand concert body style with mahogany all around which comes with that rich, full tone…..and you don’t get cheap parts along with it, these are extremely well built.

So anyways, I think this proves a point. Ibanez isn’t the BEST acoustic guitar you can get your hands on…….but they DO make an incredible acoustic guitar with an absolutely INSANE amount of value.

BONUS: Ibanez TCM50

This guitar presents something unique that all the others don’t. But……there is a lot of similarities to other Ibanez acoustics.

What really makes it different is the tone of this guitar, it’s bluesy and sounds absolutely incredible. It’s very different from what you expect to hear from Ibanez’s acoustic. It’s surprising and throws you off at first, but not in a bad way.

It is also very unique in its style. It looks a lot different from other Ibanez acoustics. Not Ibanez usual style of guitar.

Conclusion – (What You Need To Know)

I hope this article gives you an idea that Ibanez Acoustic Guitars are some seriously great options when you’re looking for an acoustic guitar. Seriously, don’t let others tell you that their acoustics aren’t good. I’ve had people over the years insinuate and tell me directly that their acoustics aren’t the best. This really just isn’t true. Ibanez acoustics are incredible.

If you don’t believe me, go ahead and pick one up at a store and play on it for a little while. It might feel weird at first, mainly if you’re not used to an electric style neck (which many of them have)……

Personally… I think these guitars are a huge upgrade when it comes to affordable acoustics. Maybe I am biased because I fell in love with an Ibanez electric with a wizard neck when I first started playing years and years ago. An RG model (I think it was RG not entirely sure now I think about it lol) my friend had that I was always jealous of. those iconic inlays got me. Lol.

Bottom line, if you’re interested in playing an Ibanez acoustic……… go play one in the store. Seriously sit down and play one for an hour or two, and really get to know the guitar and how it feels when you play it. I see this too, even though it’s obvious. Tone is important as well……if you don’t like how they sound no point in getting the guitar right?

ibanez acoustics are really one of a kind, each one has something unique about it. So if you are interested in them, take a look at their entire lineup. Which is huge btw, you’ll have to look into many guitars that they’ve discontinued and they consistently put out new models as well. If you find yourself thinking, man I like this one but only if it had ____. Keep looking through what they have, and look up older used models. Chances are they’ve made something like it. They’re a company that loves to experiment when it comes to their acoustics.

I  should Mention as well….

This applies for those of you who aren’t really interested in Ibanez acoustic line up as well. You might think Ibanez doesn’t have the right guitar for you, but I guarantee if you look closer at what they have you’ll find something you’ll like.
